I tatted up a variation of the SuperSimple Angel (a pattern that I need to overhaul) today using a button instead of a center ring. I thought it turned out cute, and it is very fast. Maybe make the head a little bigger next time around?
BTW - do you know of any way to just display the main post in Blogger? I've been trying to look at your and Gina's blogs, and both of them make my computer freeze up for several minutes because of all the linked-to graphics from other blogs in the side bar loading and loading... :0)
I just wonder if there is a way to just display the main entries?
If you make this pattern available I would love to have it. My niece lost a daughter who was 9 months old. Every year we add a new angel to the angel tree in memory of Dakota Marie, and would love to add this, as myself, my mother and my grandmother were all tatters.
I see no replies in a couple of years. Do you have an Etsy shop where we may purchase this pattern ?? Enough people want to do this that would purchase this pattern, or is it on a blog etc?? Please respond.

Your work is lovely but I never see patterns to these precious pieces. I know these posts are old. But is there or will there ever be a place to find these patterns? Thank you and be happy!
I tatted one by looking at the photo. It looks like this one is probably size 10 thread. Mine is smaller using size 20, also used a smaller button. I'd post a photo if it allowed.
I am looking for this this is a beautiful angel I love to make this for myself including what size what size of button does beautiful Angel. I hope somebody can help. Have a wonderful
When Geocities ceased to exist, I needed to find another place to store my patterns, and this blog is it! I tat a lot less now due to wrist problems, and when I do, it's usually something quick and easy. But I still enjoy it.
This is reflected in my patterns - most of them are beginner level, and only take one shuttle. There are a few more tricky ones, but frankly, I think split rings, however cool they look, are of the devil. ;0)
I love looking at other people's huge projects, but my own tatting generally runs to Christmas ornaments, bookmarks, or bits of jewelry.
That is very cute! I like it! :) It's very sweet looking.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It still needs tweaking a bit...
